Hello From Texas!

Well I never thought I would get a blog, everyone has been telling me to do it for awhile...I finally caved. Life in Texas is never dull, there is always something going on and even more to get done. To catch everyone up, we have been in our new house 3 years in October, it really doesn't feel like that long. We have been blessed with steady jobs and no major problems and we thank the Lord everyday for all of our blessings.

Ryan is still plumbing new hotels and traveling all over the country replacing boilers for Brinker, that side of the business that we started when we moved here has taken off and kept us really busy. About 7 months ago we opened yet another business (like we didn't have enough to do) Carbonated Solutions is our new venture into carpet cleaning. It is a "green" non-soap solution that is all natural and safe, they say you can drink the stuff, I personally will pass on that, but I will say that it will take a quart of black paint out of cream carpet. Yes I said black paint, cream carpet. Thank you Lexi and Cody for giving Carbonated Solutions the opportunity to prove itself. The carpet is once again Cream!

Well the kids are getting so big so fast. It seem like just yesterday they were crawling around being sweet, now they are full of "I know everything attitudes and why can't I have a cell phone!" Wow being a mom is hard!

Lexi is going into 3rd grade and becoming such a young lady. She has made some amazing friends through tumbling and cheer and they are constantly together at our house or the house of one of the other girls. Sleepovers, concerts (ooohhh The Jonas Bros.) and swimming are just some of the activities she has been enjoying this summer. She is starting her 2nd Year in Competition Cheer for Cheer Champs at Jenny's Gym. They had a very successful season last year with a few 1st place wins and a high point win at Six Flags. This year she is on level 2 and is a flyer with a couple tumbling passes, she is doing her back handsprings and we are so proud of all the time and energy she has put into this.

Cody is starting 1st grade this year and believe it or not, he is a complete angel at school, I had to ask his teacher if we were talking about the same child.. He is so active and never slows down, between trying to sneak frogs, bugs, bunny's and other creatures into my house and riding bikes all over, I am amazed that he has any energy. He is always begging to go fishing at the pond behind our house and he thinks he is a better fisherman than Grandpa Steve (don't tell Grandpa that). He has already gone on a few dove and turkey hunts with daddy and Grandpa and can shoot his 410 probably better than Ryan... sometimes that scares me. He is getting ready for football this fall and ready to go. We'll see how well the rules of no tackle work for him.

I am so busy that sometimes I wonder if we can add more hours to a day. I have my own printing and embroidery business and it is going very well. Ryan made me an awesome workshop in our garage so I am able to go to work in my PJ's and always be home for the kids.
I have made some of the greatest friends while we have been here and I know without them I wouldn't have such a great time out here. We are always spending time at the pool or the lake, eating and laughing and enjoying each others company. We are blessed that all our kids get along and our girls all cheer together so that makes competitions even funner when you are around friends.

I will update soon and I hope you are all well and remember that someone in Texas Loves You!
